Big changes for 7 months!
This last weekend, Ariana finally was able to sit for several minutes by herself before falling over backwards! She’s gotten better as the week has gone by, but still tips over after a few minutes. Yesterday, she decided she was ready to eat, and thoroughly enjoyed her first real solid food meal of avocados and bananas. She’s leaning in, and opening her mouth, ready for the good stuff! She’s blowing some pretty good raspberries, and those little legs are still kicking just as fast as they can. She’s getting taller and taller (just like daddy), and getting stronger every day. Meals aren’t the same anymore, as she reaches for everything at the table. Lots of new pictures up, check them out :)

Perspective
So we added a few pictures, but in my opinion, the fun ones are the first 8- added 4 old ones (Ariana when she was just a couple weeks old) and put them next to a similarly posed picture taken recently. Boy, she’s grown! She has 2 teeth now, can sit up for a few seconds before toppling over, and has discovered that she likes pears and watermelon! Oh, and don’t forget to look at this picture, LOL!

Halfway to one year!
Ariana is 6 months old today! We’ve said it before, but time really flies. She has 2 teeth now, and still doesn’t like rice cereal. Her visits to the chiropractor have been very beneficial, as her neck is so straight now! She’s on her way to trying to sit up on her own, but right now, still face plants or tips over sideways. She’s as talkative as ever, squawks and talks to her toys, giggles, and laughs (especially when Daddy blows raspberries on her belly). Ariana still loves to chew on her toes, and anything else she can get her hands on. Sitting with her at the dinner table is more of an adventure now! On our way home from one of our trips last month, she knocked a extra large coke over on Daddy’s lap at Taco Bell. She grabs both our faces, and pulls us close, which we love. First thing in the morning, she just give us huge grins! (although she grins even bigger in the evening when Daddy comes home!) She and Kitty have made their peace, and enjoy “talking “ to each other. Ariana is still such a laid back, relaxed baby, and so observant, taking the world in. She has her 6 month check up next week, and we’ll know all her weight/height stats then (was 12 lbs 12 oz last week).

What’s in a name?
So we had this discussion about Ariana. We named her Ariana because we both love the name, and thought that down the road, we might call her “Ari”. Well, from day one, we started calling her “Ari”, don’t know why. So now we are trying to call her Ariana more. Otherwise, someday we’d say “Ariana, blahlblahblah”, and she’d turn to us and say “who the heck is Ariana?” lol
We had a fun playdate today with Mara and Makayla, and Julie and Megumi. Ariana slept almost the whole time, and missed out on the fun Makayla and Megumi had!
As for those of you who admitted to us in the last week that you are picture stalkers, (you know who you are Aunt Pam and Rina! hehehe) there are some new pictures up!
